New Ballet Barre Pilates class in Leeds – Body ProPilates

The BodyPro Pilates method is based on Barreconcept training, Sarah’s Pilates training at Body Control Pilates and overall, general body conditioning.
Barrceconcept training is a new and unique workout that combines the elements of Pilates, yoga, resistance training and ballet into a focused and hugely effective workout that is performed on yoga mats and ballet barres.
Sarah has been teaching in London as a Pilates teacher – both mat and reformer, where she taught a mixture of private clients, including high-profile and celebrity clients, at the prestigious Lomax in Chelsea. Having recently moved to Leeds, she now wants to bring the barre classes, which have a huge following across the Atlantic in Los Angeles and New York, to Yorkshire and mix the incredible benefits of Barreconcept training with all the additional advantages gained in a mat Pilates class.
The two combined make Barre Bootcamp, which will run for 6 weeks, starting 17th November, every Tuesday night at 1930.
The class is 55 minutes of body conditioning based on ballet and Pilates, with a ten minute warm up section, upper body conditioning with light weights, a barre section full of lower body toning plies, lunges, curtseys, squats amongst other exercises, and then a section on the mat, to tone the abdominals.
