The dance studio is almost ready

We. Have. A. Dance. Floor!

It all started with the walls being knocked down back in April, where you needed a huge dollop of imagination and a hefty dosage of faith that the premises we’d taken on would make a stunning dance studio. We’re pleased to say, it’s almost there. Aside from some minor plumbing works, a lick of paint here and there and the second fix electrics, we’re ready. Well, apart from having to put the flooring down on in the entire the building apart from the dance studios.

Ten days ago we were in place to get Harlequin flooring in – the flooring in Studio One had been plyed to ensure it was as flat and as even as possible, and Studio Two had had all the old tiles excavated and the floorboards made good.

And then the moment we’d been waiting for – Harlequin turned up.

Over the course of four days, we went from clean and tidy building site to cutting edge dance studio.

And the results? Well, here’s Studio Two the night Harlequin left – the floor feels amazing! It’s firm but with a spring, feels luxurious on bare feet and feels perfect with ballet shoes on.
